AMSA Around Australia - State Branches
AMSA has autonomous branches in most States, and the activity of each branch is dependent on the interest of local members to organise functions and get-togethers. Branches are funded by branch membership fees (added to your AMSA membership), by fund raising events, or from profits from when the local branch organises AMSA's annual conference.
Branch fees have been set at $10 per year for professional members, and $5 per year for student members. This fee is usually paid with annual membership subscriptions.
Each State has (or in the future will have!) an autonomous web site which will give information on their activities.
